A Donor Advised Fund is an innovative philanthropic and financial tool that enables donors to give more over time while maximizing available tax benefits.
A DAF separates the funding stage from the actual granting stage. This allows you to deposit funds intended for future charitable giving, receive an immediate tax-deductible receipt that provides a tax credit of up to 35% of the deposited amount, and then distribute donations over time to any registered nonprofit organization in Israel.
DAF’s are managed by Jgive, which is itself a nonprofit organization (Asor Fund). Therefore, every deposit into the fund is already considered a charitable contribution. This allows us to issue a tax-deductible receipt at the time of deposit—even before the funds are granted to charities. Grants are then managed through our digital platform, from anywhere and at any time.
The higher your average annual balance, the lower the fees:
Up to ₪500,000: 0.6% per year

₪2 million–₪10 million: 0.3% per year
Above ₪10 million: 0.15% per year
The minimum annual fee is ₪750. Funds invested through investment tracks may incur management fees of up to 0.5%.
No. As part of our mission to strengthen the culture of giving in Israel, we want to make this service accessible to anyone who wishes to make a positive impact. However, to enjoy all the benefits of a Platinum account, a minimum annual deposit of ₪50,000 is required.
By clicking "Make a Deposit" in your personal area, you can transfer funds to your account via bank transfer or credit card. Once deposited, you can grant those funds over time to different causes and organizations.
Once your deposit has been approved, a tax-deductible receipt for the full deposit amount will appear in your personal area. You can download it and submit it to the tax authorities yourself or through your accountant.
For balances of up to ₪5,000, funds may remain in the account for up to two calendar years. After that, they must be granted to a nonprofit organization of your choice (you may extend the period by making additional deposits).
For balances between ₪5,000 and ₪35,000, at least 35% of the fund balance must be granted by the end of two calendar years.
Your personal area displays all account activity—deposits, grants, and downloadable receipts. Each transaction includes details such as the date, amount, status, and more.

All nonprofits on the platform hold a valid certificate of proper management and Section 46 approval, which allows donors to receive tax benefits on their contributions.
Yes. Jgive partners with nonprofit organizations in these countries, allowing donors to support Israeli charities in foreign currencies while receiving tax-deductible receipts in the currency used for the deposit.
For example, if you wish to donate in U.S. dollars, you can do so through Jgive – Friends of Asor USA Inc., a recognized tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3), and receive a receipt recognized by U.S. tax authorities.

You can donate to any Israeli cause that matters to you in a simpler, faster, and more cost-effective way.
